We have started independent reading and our Reader's Notebooks. Routines and procedures are in place and running smoothly! I am very proud to say that we have read five books together as a class. We are working on listening to each other and having conversation about our books and our thinking.
I had a question from a parent at the street fair about spelling and homework. I am not going to be in school Monday or Tuesday, but don't worry!...spelling and homework will be starting soon. I am looking at an online reading log that is a bit different than the one I used last year. I think you and your child will enjoy using the site to log nightly reading!
