Dear 4th Grade Families,
Hello! In lieu of collecting a reading log over the last few weeks, the students will have an assignment to complete for their Famous American project. These assignments will require research and reading at home. Each assignment will be due on Friday of the week it is assigned. It will be graded and is worth 100 points.
I strongly encourage the assignments to be shared with me through Google Docs. Every student has a Google school account. The students are very comfortable with creating a Google Doc and sharing it with me online. If you do not have computer access at home, please complete the assignment on paper.

Find a quote from or about your Famous American. Write the quote as a new Google Doc and share it with me through Google at melanie.strohecker@columbianaschools.org. These will be printed and hanging up during the Living Museum.
Your document should be titled YOUR NAME QUOTE.
